Have your say: Inclusive PPE standards
The British Standards Institution (BSI) is seeking drafting panel members to develop a new British Standard aimed at guiding purchasing and buying departments on the provision of Inclusive PPE.
This standard is crucial for ensuring safety and accessibility for all employees, particularly in the energy sector which is currently underrepresented on the panel. Your expertise and input are invaluable to this initiative.
At IGEM, we believe that a vibrant and diverse gas engineering community is essential for driving innovation and progress within the industry. Our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) is built into everything we do as an insitiution.
We recognise that creating a welcoming and inclusive environment allows every member to express their unique perspectives and talents, ultimately enriching our industry as a whole.
As we strive to foster a culture that celebrates diversity, we invite our members to lend their voices and expertise to shape the future of our profession. Together, we can help ensure that safety and accessibility are prioritised across all aspects of the industry, including the development of Inclusive PPE standards, which play a vital role in protecting every worker.
