Out for Comment: IGEM/TD/101 Edition 4 - Adoption of pipe systems by a GT – management of GT and UIP activities

This Standard has been drafted by an Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) Panel, appointed by IGEM’s Gas Transmission and Distribution Committee and has been approved by IGEM’s Technical Coordinating Committee on behalf of the Council of IGEM.

We are currently seeking comments on IGEM technical standard IGEM/TD/101 Edition 4 - Adoption of pipe systems by a GT – management of GT and UIP activities.

This standard outlines the minimum management requirements for laying newly constructed natural gas mains and services including associated installations such as pressure regulating installations of maximum operating pressure 7 bar for adoption by a Gas Transporter (GT). 

This draft Standard has been prepared by a Panel under the chair, Steph Marvin.
