Is Sustainable Aviation Fuel Set to Take Flight?

The YPN explored the viability of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in the sector. As the industry faces increasing pressure to reduce its carbon footprint, finding low carbon fuel solutions is crucial.

Tegan Norster, Rotating Machinery Engineer, and Steven He, Senior Consultant, both from DNV, provided a comprehensive overview of sustainable aviation fuel. They looked into the current state of SAF, including its market availability and the projected future demand.

One of the key factors influencing the viability of sustainable aviation fuel is the production route and feedstock selection. This webinar walked through each production pathway, discussing the potential challenges, implications and benefits associated with each option.
