IGEM/IG/3 - Response to LNG road tanker emergencies

This standard provides guidance for emergency situations involving transportation by

road of bulk LNG on public highways and s applicable to LNG transport in the United Kingdom.

It does not give advice for emergency situations involving LNG being used as a vehicle fuel supply, except where the bulk transport vehicle also happens to be fuelled by LNG.

It does not give advice for emergency situations on private sites, filling stations or areas already covered by operator’s on-site emergency response plans.
