Historic London gas lamps get Grade II-listing

Campaigners are hailing the Grade II-listed status for four gas lamps in central London as a significant "milestone".
These particular lampposts, located in Covent Garden, were originally erected in 1910 to commemorate the start of King George V's reign.
According to London Gasketeers, this decision now establishes a precedent for safeguarding other vulnerable gas lamps in Westminster.
