GIS/PL3: Specification for Self Anchoring Mechanical Fittings for Polyethylene Pipe for Natural Gas and Suitable Manufactured Gas

This Gas Industry Standard specifies the requirements for materials, design, performance and testing of mechanical fittings in the nominal size range 16 mm to 800 mm inclusive intended for use with polyethylene (PE) pipe conforming to GIS/PL2-2 or GIS/PL2-8 of the same nominal size and at operating temperatures from –20°C to +40°C.
