GIS/LC8-1: Specification for methods of repairing leaking ferrous gas mains. Part 1 - External systems (excluding joint and pipe clamps)

This part of GIS/LC8 specifies requirements for external encapsulation systems for the repair of joints in gas mains operating at a maximum working pressure of 2 bar and in the temperature range −20 °C to 50 °C. It does not cover the use of joint or pipe clamps.
