This Gas Industry Standard (GIS) specifies the requirements for gas filters of nominal sizes 80 mm and above suitable for use at ambient temperatures in the range –20 ºC to 60ºC and in the nominal pressure range: a) above 75 mbar and not exceeding 2 bar; b) above 2 bar and not exceeding 7 bar. It is for use by manufacturers and suppliers of gas filters.
