Ensure IGEM emails reach your inbox: Our guide
Are you missing out on essential updates, event confirmations, or membership information from IGEM?
If some of our emails aren't reaching your inbox, it might be due to email filtering. To ensure you receive all communications from us, it’s crucial to add our email addresses to your safe sender list or whitelist.
Why this matters
We’ve noticed that while many members receive our weekly newsletter, Flame, some emails from other departments like Membership, Events, and Training are getting caught in spam or junk folders. This can cause you to miss out on important updates, reminders, and event information that’s crucial to your involvement with IGEM.
How to fix it
To avoid missing out, please add the following email addresses to your address book or safe sender list:
- [email protected] – Ensure you receive our newsletters
- [email protected] – Stay informed about your IGEM membership.
- [email protected] – Get essential event and training updates.
- [email protected] – Receive technical updates
Tip: If you have an IT department, please forward this request to them. They can add the entire @igem.org.uk domain to your organisation’s safe sender or whitelist to ensure all our communications reach you.
