METLEN Energy & Metals ("METLEN") has announced the launch of its renowned "Engineers in Action" program in the UK. Now in its eighth cycle, this paid internship provides recent graduates with an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real-world engineering environments.

First launched in Greece in 2014, "Engineers in Action" has become a leading program for aspiring engineers, equipping them with practical skills through active participation in live projects across the energy, metallurgy, and infrastructure sectors.

METLEN remains dedicated to supporting the development of young engineers by promoting equal opportunities and helping bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice. By expanding the program beyond Greece, METLEN is offering UK graduates the chance to join a growing global network of engineering professionals.

This internship is open to recent graduates with up to two years of work experience in fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or IT Engineering. To apply, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • A strong academic background in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Valid UK residence and work permit
  • Proficiency in English
  • Alignment with METLEN's core values: People & Personal Growth, Results Orientation & Safety Excellence, Collaboration & Trust, Empathy & Effective Communication, Flexibility & Adaptability

With a decade-long presence in the UK and a portfolio of renewable energy, energy storage, and grid interconnection projects valued at £2.5 billion, METLEN is excited to bring this program to a new generation of engineers.
