Call for IGEM/SR/18 Panel nominations (YPN)

Explainer - News and Article.jpg

IGEM/SR/18 covers the Safe working practices to ensure the integrity of gas assets and associated installations.

The document has been included as part of the 2024 standards development programme and is due to be reviewed and updated by an IGEM Technical Panel.

The panels are made up from a diverse background to ensure holistic review of the standard, recognising the range of individuals who will be using the document. With this in mind we're offering the opportunity for two members from the YPN to join experts from the gas industry in the review and development of Edition 3 as a development opportunity. Please consider other people in your network that are members of the IGEM YPN (even if they do not sit on the committee) if they might be interested.

What’s in it for you?
  • Contribute to industry best practices: Gain insight into the workings of a Technical Review panel and how the work will directly impact the safety of gas assets and installations across the UK.
  • Expand your network: Collaborate with leading experts and professionals in the field.

Ideal candidates will have:
