The South West and Welsh Section invite you to show your support for some of the industry's greatest young minds as they showcase their innovative projects and innovations in the local area.
The YPPC is a competition organised and run annually by IGEM since 2002 for young gas professionals and students aged between 18 and 35 years. Initially a paper competition, it has evolved to encourage greater participation and now focuses on presentation rather than written skills.
The entrants are:
- Alfie Gatenby, Asset Apprentice, Wales & West Utilities
- Callum Coleman, Mechanical Engineering Apprentice, Saith
- James Simpson, Project Engineer, Progressive Energy Limited
- Millie Jones, Asset Apprentice, Wales & West Utilities
- Nathan Isaac, Craftsman, Wales & West Utilities
- Paisley Carpenter, Community & Partnerships Officer, Wales & West Utilities
Come along to the Village Hotel and encourage the South West and Welsh Section entrants as they compete for a spot in the YPPC final.
Not only will the winning entrant secure a place in the YPPC final, they will receive £250 and have their paper published in IGEM’s journal, Gas International (Gi).
The Section heat runner-up will receive £100.
